Queenstown Resort College is giving experienced education practitioners the chance to test their skills in an inspiring alpine setting. QRC pioneers the edu-tourism model in New Zealand. We need people with a special brand of motivation and passion to match our own vision for excellence. QRC employs up to 40 permanent staff, including 21 academic staff. We also draw on the specialist skills of part-time guest lecturers throughout the year.

Domestic Student Recruitment Manager
We are currently seeking a dynamic, focused individual to step in to some BIG shoes. Our current Domestic Recruitment Manager is departing, therefore QRC need a focused, creative & driven individual to take our business to the next level.
The role is an integral part of the College as you will be one of most influential contacts responsible for stimulating the interest of young New Zealanders to consider a career in the tourism and hospitality industry.
We are seeking applicants that have a minimum of 3 years experience in sales, marketing or recruitment.
Applicants must have:
- A strong customer focus
- Successful sales execution and conversion skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A Positive attitude
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent public relations skills & demonstrated ease at dealing with diverse groups
- Initiative and be a self starter
- A current NZ driving license as travel within NZ is required
Relevant tertiary qualifications are preferred

Front of House Receptionist – QRC
QRC is now looking for a proactive & well presented person who has a strong customer service focus, to take pride and ownership of the Front office at the college.
The ideal person must have excellent attention to detail, enjoy multi tasking and be able to prioritise effectively along with training to becoming the ‘know everything’ person , as they will provide clear communication about daily events, schedules, visitors and operation management of the college.
A main part of the role will involve liaison with clients/students and visitors as well as staff. Overall office administration &reception duties, with an element of invoicing & secretarial support where required.

Teachers
QRC invites expressions of interest from enthusiastic people who are currently teachers, or who are industry professionals who would like to try teaching adults. QRC employs both full-time and part-time teachers on the Diploma of Hospitality Management, Diploma of Adventure Tourism Management, English language courses and other short-term programmes.
Guest Lecturers and Presenters
Queenstown Resort College employs both full-time and part-time teaching staff. In many cases, QRC will draw on talented and creative New Zealanders and international 'in residence' guest lecturers to deliver professional short courses and study groups as well as community education programmes.
