Harvey Bourne

Harvey is responsible for the overall leadership, management and academic development of the School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. He is also Head of Programme for the Diploma of Hospitality Management. Harvey has an extensive background in teaching and working in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining QRC, Harvey was the Programme Director for Catering, Hospitality, Tourism and Travel at Massey University. Harvey is a fully qualified chef and his career highlights include a term as Executive Chef at New Zealand’s Government House.

Chris Warburton
B Ed, Dip Tchg, NZOIA Rock 2, Kayak 1
An outdoor enthusiast, Chris has an extensive back ground in both the adventure tourism industry & Education. His experience includes 5 years as a Head of Department for Physical Education, Sport and Outdoor Education. Chris has also tutored on adventure courses for Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology and the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology. Prior to joining us at QRC Chris was immersed in the Industry he loves, Canyon Guiding in Wanaka along with his running his own media production company which specializes in promotional films for adventure tourism operations.
