Scholarships
Each year, Queenstown Resort College (QRC) offers a variety of Scholarship options to students who are New Zealand Citizens and Residents only.
QRC National Scholarship
QRC offers two National Scholarships per year for students enrolling into either of our diploma programmes. One scholarship is available for the Diploma of Hospitality Management and one scholarship is available for the Diploma of Adventure Tourism Management.
Scholarships are open to New Zealand citizens and residents who are completing Year 13 studies. The Scholarships will cover the full tuition fee for the duration of your studies, regardless of which intake you start in (terms and conditions are made available in the National Scholarship Application Form at the time QRC opens for Scholarship applications).
Applications will be evaluated by the Scholarship Panel, consisting of industry representatives and members of the administration and academic departments of QRC. The presentation, relevance and creativity of the application and the academic merit of the applicant are considered.
Initially a group of semi-finalists are chosen based on the written application. The semi-finalists will be required to fly to Queenstown for an interview at their own expense. The two Scholarship winners will be selected from this group.
