Central Otago Wine and Gourmet Cuisine is an invitation to whet your palate, to learn about and tour one of the world's most southerly wine regions, and to taste the acclaimed wines and gourmet cuisine of the region.

New Zealand's fastest growing wine region, Central Otago's wines are internationally acclaimed - in particular its award-winning Pinot Noir. You will enjoy the vibrant spicy flavour and velvety texture of the Pinot Noir, the perfect companion to vine smoked venison or tender New Zealand lamb.

You will be taught to pair wine and food and be treated to the culinary arts of local award-winning chefs who will introduce you to the finer points of New Zealand gastronomy.

You will tour and lunch at a vineyard tasting many grape varieties and indulging in local fare. A 'trust the chef' dinner at Queenstown's most celebrated winery restaurant will heighten your gastronomical experience, made more enjoyable by your new found knowledge.

By the time you leave Queenstown you will be well versed in the regional foods and wines of Central Otago and, over a glass of your favourite Pinot Noir, be vowing to return.
