Structure and Content

 

The Diploma of Adventure Tourism Management specialising in Snowsport Business Management is an 18 month full-time course, which consists of four on-campus terms and two winter fully paid internship placements with NZSki Ltd at one of their three ski areas, Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak or The Remarkables.

Students of this programme will also have the opportunity to apply for work and travel visas as students of QRC. This will enable then to apply for seasonal employment within North American Ski Resorts upon completion of their Diploma.

Terms & Dates

The Diploma of Adventure Tourism Management is an 18 month full-time course, which consists of four on-campus terms and a six month internship, where students complete a fully paid work placement with an adventure tourism business.

  • Term 1 - on-campus (3 months)
  • Term 2 - on-campus (3 months)
  • Term 3 - NZSKI Winter placement*
  • Term 4 - on-campus (3 months)
  • Term 5 - on-campus (3 months)
  • Term 3 - NZSKI Winter placement (or North American winter placement)*

* Please note this structure varies depending on which intake you join on, as the terms shift to reflect the seasons.
