English Language Pathways

QRC has developed articulation agreements and pathways with a number of leading English Schools in New Zealand. Students are able to be assessed internally by each institution as an alternative to an IELTS assessment. Students from countries with a visa decline rate of over 20% are required to undergo an official IELTS test.

Students enrolling in either the Diploma of Adventure Tourism Management or the Diploma of Hospitality Management need to have an IELTS (academic) score of 6.0 with no less than 6.0 in speaking and 5.0 in any other band or equivalent.

Although IELTS is our preferred assessment method we understand that some students may prefer to have other options.
