NZSki CEO Welcomes Snow Sport Management students into the NZSki family.

Last night NZSki CEO James Coddington, department heads and senior staff from Mt Hutt, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables welcomed the inaugural class of Diploma of Adventure Tourism Management specialising in Snow Sport Business Management students into the NZ Ski Family at QRC House.

Students were able to meet with their future employers to learn more about career options and opportunities awaiting them as they progress through the programme.

“We are thrilled with the close relationship we have with NZSki” Head of programme John Cushen said. “We feel this will benefit both the students and industry alike. Students will have the ability to learn firsthand from some of the NZ Skis most experienced team members while industry will gain access to a group of enthusiastic dedicated young professionals.

“I am also very pleased with the quality of our first intake.” Cushen reiterated “ The students have impressed all who have had contact with them and feedback I am getting from QRC staff and Industry is that they are focused, enthusiastic, very energetic and totally professional”

The next intake for the Diploma of Adventure Tourism Management specializing in Snow Sport Business Management is January 2011 and positions are in high demand.
