Canter for Canteen

Recently a group of 20 staff and students took part in the Canter for CanTeen charity fundraiser and raised $4404 for CanTeen – a support network for young people aged 13-24 and living with cancer.

Led by students Jock Barr and Michael Jones, the group shaved their heads before running from Glenorchy to Queenstown (46.1km). They raised cash through individual sponsorship and donations, a sausage sizzle and street-side money collections.

Thanks to all those who gave so generously. CanTeen is a great cause and we have been hugely inspired and motivated to help as much as we can. Visit www.canteen.org.nz for more information or to donate.
