Accommodation Options with QRC

QRC offers a range of accommodation options to suit your budget (subject to availability).

As a student of QRC, living with your peers is an important part of your integration into student life. For this reason, QRC has selected a range of quality accommodation options that encourage communal living. If you want to live with certain students or friends, Student Relations staff will try their best to fulfill your wishes.

Fully furnished apartments

QRC apartment-style accommodation is managed by Student Relations staff (please note, QRC apartments will undergo regular formal inspections by Student Relations staff at a time that is suitable to both parties) but students are responsible for their own bill payments.

Each fully furnished apartment includes:

  • Beds
  • Lounge and dining area
  • Full kitchen facilities, including hob, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator / freezer, saucepans, dinner sets and cutlery
  • Laundry facilities
  • Parking available (in some complexes)

QRC Accommodation Options

QRC offers a range of accommodation options to suit your budget. Each option is fully furnished - all you need to bring is your sheets and towels!

For each 'Level', we have a number of site options available. These vary in price, quality and distance from QRC and downtown Queenstown. All options are subject to availability but Student Relations will do their best to place you in your option of choice.

Your accommodation placement will be confirmed nearer your enrolment.

Refundable Bond - 4 weeks
Electricity, food and gas additional

Payment can be made in the following instalments: fortnightly, per term, one full payment in advance.

First payment and bond is due one month in advance. A $200 accommodation placement fee applies.

On application to the College, indicate your preferred payment option. On enrolment, you will be contacted by the QRC Student Relations Manager to confirm your accommodation placement.

Accommodation application process

  1. On application, indicate whether you would like accommodation organised for you
  2. We will discuss your needs with you and help determine which is the best option for you
  3. We will send your accommodation terms and conditions and a schedule of charges, which includes a $200 accommodation placement fee. Some options will also require a deposit, which will be detailed on your schedule of charges.
  4. Your accommodation placement is confirmed once you return your $200 accommodation placement fee, deposit (if applicable)
  5. Details of your address and roommates will be confirmed two weeks prior to your enrolment.
  6. QRC accommodation is guaranteed only for the length of your course or Internship.
